Earl Zimmer was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Earl received his law degree from the University of
Manitoba in 1974 and with a heart for the needy,
launched his career attached to Legal Aid in Winnipeg.
The next four years found Earl in the arenas of Family
Law, Criminal Law and dealing with welfare issues. Our
young lawyer eventually needed more so he took a break
from the day-to-day practice of law to travel, explore
and experience Europe. Armed with a new understanding of
various cultures, he then returned to Canada to renew
his career with a fuller understanding and vision. Four
years of general practice and a portfolio of wins found
Earl in Vancouver with a burning desire to specialize.
In 1984, Earl started to make his mark as a specialist
in motor vehicle accident personal injury claims and
what a great move it has proved to be. Today, with a
track record of 22 years of effectively representing
drivers, passengers, pedestrians and cyclists from the
Vancouver area, other parts of Canada and even from the
United States, Earl Zimmer is fully equipped and
prepared to deal with insurance companies and in
particular with ICBC.
Earl lives in
Vancouver with his wife Hanna and their four cats! They have
one married daughter Sylvia, who lives in Calgary and works as
an analyst with Suncor. Sylvia’s husband Daren, spends his
working hours in the Natural Gas business.
Spare time finds Earl enjoying new
authors and their writings. Reading is a special place for
Earl.
His newest interest is learning to speak
and read German. Of course travel and the experiences
are still in his blood. 2006 found Earl in Eastern
Europe renewing acquaintances with old friends and
family. |

Tina is Earl’s able and trusted assistant. In 2001 she
completed a Legal Assistant Program and received her
Certificate of Qualifications in the United States. She
then began working for a lawyer in California who dealt
primarily with Bankruptcy and Corporate Litigation. In
2003 she moved to British Columbia and continued her
training at Vancouver Community College taking courses
in Family Law and Civil Litigation. During this time she
worked in a small law firm in Surrey, British Columbia
and gained further experience with personal injury
claims and immigration matters. She then joined Goldman
Zimmer Bray in June 2004 and has been working with Earl
Zimmer since that time.
When Tina is not busy at work, she enjoys
spending time in the great outdoors. |
